Soya chaap curry is a delicious vegetarian gravy made using tomato, onion, garlic,  ginger, cashew, milk, cream, and spices.

Soya chaap is a good source of protein and therefore if you are following a high protein diet, this ingredient is apt for you. But as flour is also used in the making of chaap, it has a good amount 

Soya Chaap is one of those vegetarian ingredients that has always been compared to mutton or chicken due to its texture.

And when made into a curry, the soya curry tastes very similar to a nonvegetarian curry. Therefore, it is also known as Vegetarian Meat 

Ingredients:-

  • 3 onion
  • 6 tomatoes( #if you take 2 onions and 4 tomatoes mean you have to double the number of tomatoes)
How to make the Masala chaap 
 
FOR FRY THE CHAAP 
  • . First, take any frozen chaap / any other chaap  
  • cut into pieces
  • Take the pan
  • add oil 
  • First fry the chaap on low flame 
  • Then deep fry the chaap 
  • The little light brown color of chaap has to come.

FOR CURRY 

  • 3 onion paste 
  • 6 tomatoes paste 
  • Garlic + ginger + cashew nuts paste 
  • Add oil to the pan 
  • First put bay leaf(tej pata), cinnamon(dalchini), long, heeng, then add onion paste and fry(bhun) loo till the onion paste color turns to brown 
  • Then add garlic paste in the pan aur usee bhi fry(bhun) loo
  • Then add tomato paste in the usee bhi (bhun) loo achee sai 
  • When the curry masala is ready ( means Jab masala bhun Kar tayar ho Jaye ) then add  Kashmiri red chili powder, salt, jeera powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, chaap masala ( you can use kitchen king/meat masala ), 2 tbsp. sugar 
  • 2 cups of milk let it boil 
  • Then add fresh cream / Malai 
  • Add boil till then curry becomes a little thick
  • Then add fry soya chaap and then mix it will curry 
  • then add kasuri methi and coriander 
  •  For garnish with cream
